Trailer hire terms and conditions
All hire trailers are provided with a theft deterrent device, full road lighting and a spare wheel.
The hirer will inspect the trailer and sign for its condition on collection. Damage and differences to the agreed condition are at the hirer's cost.
All hire charges must be paid for in advance on a credit or debit card.
The hirer accepts responsibility for the insurance of the trailer against theft, accident and third party liability regardless of whether attached to the hirer's vehicle or uncoupled, from when it is assigned until it is signed back in by us. It is the responsibility of the hirer to satisfy all legal requirements such as suitable licence, weight limitations, safe loading and trailer safety.
Day and week hire's start from 9AM or 4.30PM. Trailers should be returned at 8.30AM or 4.30PM. Additional or part days hire are charged pro-rata.
Weekend hire starts from 9AM on Saturday. Trailers may be collected on Friday after 4.30PM if available.
Weekend hire finishes at 8.30AM on Monday. Trailers not returned by 9AM will be charged for one additional days hire.
Where ratchet straps are supplied, it is the hirer's responsibility to inspect them for damage before using them. C M KING AND SONS TRAILER & TOWING CENTRE LTD Accepts no responsibility for any damage or accident caused by the use of ratchet straps.
All equipment including ratchet straps, ramps, covers, spare wheels, security devices and any other accessories supplied with the trailer are also subject to these terms and conditions.
All tyre damage and punctures are chargeable at cost of repair or replacement.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR CAR TRANSPORTER TRAILER HIRE.
A full UK photo card licence with catagory B+E entitlement will be required to hire this trailer.
Insurance premium of £5.30 per 24 Hours will be mandatory on top of hire charges for this trailer. This policy is for fully comprehensive insurance with the NTTA. A cover note will be issued at commencement of hire. A £150 excess applies to all insurance policies.
